Snap Happy – Photography
During this 8-week photography course participants were taught the basic techniques of photography, both traditional and digital, with the option of using the photographic darkroom. Participants learned how to upload their images to the computer and enhance them using Adobe Photoshop.
The aim of this course was to introduce participants to photography as an art form with the option of graduating to a more advanced level in 2009 and continuing artistic learning with Artlink.

Introduction to Painting
During this 10-week painting course participants are taught the basic techniques of painting using the popular mediums – acrylic, oils and watercolours. Participants were shown examples of each medium and taught how each medium was applied and what equipment is best used in the application before learning about the colour wheel and bringing everything back to basics with simple life drawing.

Creative Painting
During this 10-week painting course participants are encouraged to push the boundaries of their imagination by introducing them to various techniques, ideas and artists.
This course is proving to be very popular with experienced painters and art teachers. It is taught, not my a painter, but by a print-maker so that ideas and techniques can be brought to the class that are not obvious to a practicing painter.

Culture Vultures
Culture Vultures is a group that centre all its activities on culture, in particular the arts and crafts. The basic element of the group is for adults with similar interests to meet in an arts environment, forming a social group that meet during the day and arrange outings and activities based around culture and the arts. Artlink organise all activities and the group decide what they would like to see and do. Artlink is currently restructuring Culture Vultures due to a number of requests to schedule it after 6pm.
