Earagail Festival Exhibition
For the Earagail Festival exhibition Artlink presents ‘Memory, Memorial’ a show by artist Moira McIver and featuring contemporary photography and video. ‘Memory, Memorial’ is based on five individuals who served in the Second World War, who were interviewed and photographed by the artist in their original uniforms as an exploration of the relationships between public memorial and private memory.
This exhibition is also part of Artlink’s programming at Fort Dunree, set in the poignancy of the converted military hospital exhibition space. Moira McIver has exhibited widely, including The Victoria and Albert Museum, London, Oliver Dowling Gallery in Dublin, Old Museum Arts Centre in Belfast and with galleries in The Netherlands, Canada and Tel Aviv.
