The exhibition is inspired by the Société des Artistes Indépendants which was founded in 1884 in Paris with the simple motto and rule – ‘No jury nor awards.’
Artlink 2013 by Julia Brommel
In 2013, on a day when Artlink was busy with a number of projects, we had a unexpected visit by aspiring journalist Julia Brommel who interviewed those on site and created a short film reflecting on life at Artlink.
Fatigue Detail: David Farquhar
The work ‘Fatigue Detail’ commenced in April 2010 as a response to an interest in the exploration of personal and human limits, and the view that the military maybe a professional platform where this can occur. The initial work has involved photographing soldiers from 2nd Battalion ‘The Rifles’ in the immediate aftermath of physical training exercises.
