The exhibition, launched by John McCarter, shows a cross-section of creative talent from across the north-west, in a vibrant and attractive way. The show was well covered and credited in the local and regional papers.
The exhibition is inspired by the Société des Artistes Indépendants which was founded in 1884 in Paris with the simple motto and rule – ‘No jury nor awards.’
The work ‘Fatigue Detail’ commenced in April 2010 as a response to an interest in the exploration of personal and human limits, and the view that the military maybe a professional platform where this can occur. The initial work has involved photographing soldiers from 2nd Battalion ‘The Rifles’ in the immediate aftermath of physical training exercises.

This exhibition featured the video installations of three Colombian artists who were gaining increasing international exposure: Oscar Muñoz, Juan Manuel Echavarría, and Rosemberg Sandoval.
Edge Centring was realized by Artlink in co-operation with, and supported by the Cultural Councils of Eastern Iceland, Cultural Council of Vesteralen, Norway, and Donegal County Council. Fort Dunree Military Museum kindly made the site and facilities available to Artlink.
Gateway to Opportunity was a cross-border project including Derry/Londonderry, Limavady, Coleraine and Inishowen. It delivered a host of opportunities to young disabled adults through a variety of mediums including training, encouragement and by offering Peer support.
